Suzy-Jo Donuts is a local family-run donut shop in my hometown. While their donuts are spectacular, their identity was extremely lacking and in desperate need of a makeover. For their new identity, I decided to combine elements of tradition and the home through bright and fun pattern work that resembled a modern take on the floral wallpaper you might find in your grandmother’s kitchen. To play up a more homemade feel, I added kraft tones throughout the pieces that also added a masculine tone to an otherwise feminine design.
The rebrand consists of a new logo, stationery, packaging, product design, poster series for advertising, website, and a new storefront and interior design. The entire brand is accompanied by a process book explaining everything from my research and inspiration to the development and final products.
